Calling for Mentors

Recently I had the freedom to share about Mosaic Life Care’s work with our local community. I am thankful for the kind welcome and was curious to hear why people choose to give their time as mentors.

Effectively, why become a mentor?

Mentoring is a great privilege and opportunity to give back to the community. “A mentoring partnership can be rewarding to both people, personally and professionally. It's an opportunity to develop communication skills, expand your viewpoints, and consider new ways of approaching situations...” (https://www.mindtools.com/ahkej7i/mentoring)

Being a ‘friend with purpose’ is also a great way to share your wisdom and relevant skills.

Memorably, I have learned COACH Mentoring relationships can help you become a better listener and gain more life purpose. We hope these connections will be life giving for all those involved.

Upcoming Training on 28/10/23

Mosaic Life Care is providing more COACH Mentor training on 28/10/23. We’d love to hear from mature people with a heart to encourage, support, and listen without judgment to someone experiencing isolation.

Sam from Crossway Life Care is coming up from Melbourne for this. His bio and more COACH information are available at https://www.coachnetwork.org/about-us/.

If you are interested in regularly catching up with a participant for 12 months, or learning more about what we do, please contact Tecia at hello@mosaiclifecare.org.au and/or check out more of our website.

We hope to hear from you soon.
